David Gilmour is finishing up his 2016 touring schedule with a residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
With only two nights remaining, the Pink Floyd guitarist invited a special guest on-stage Wednesday night to help him close out the show.

As Gilmour played the beginning chords of Comfortably Numb, British actor Benedict Cumberbatch appeared and began singing the opening verses.The Sherlock star stuck around right up until singing: “That’ll keep you going through the show; Come on, it’s time to go.” With that, he left the stage, allowing Gilmour to finish out the song and show.
