Pink Floyd is set to release their first album in 20 years next month, and they have been appropriately been building up the release of The Endless River with a series of teasers, each a little more revealing than the last.
The third taste of their upcoming return finds the band discussing the recording, with bits of new music spiced in-between the interview soundbites.
“We set up, just like the old days, so the three of us could play along with each other for the love of it, and see what came out of it,” guitarist David Gilmour said of the original sessions that started the project in the early ’90s. “Out of that, this album grew, as well as The Division Bell.”
The Division Bell saw release in 1993 after those original recording session, while The Endless River was shelved and then returned to 18 years later, finally seeing release now.
The Endless River is due out Nov. 10.
