There are concerts. And there are big concerts. And then there’s Roger Waters‘ The Wall concert.

In case you missed it, from 2010 through 2013, Waters toured all over the world performing Pink Floyd‘s classic 1979 album The Wall. Part rock concert, part stage production and part film, the tour had production values that hadn’t been seen before or since—it reportedly cost $60 million to stage)—and became one of the highest-grossing tours of all time.

Despite the size of the production, The Wall is a story based around a very personal and human subject: the death of Waters’ father, who was killed on a battlefield in World War II. Waters’ tour put a lot of focus on that and the futility of war.

From the looks of the trailer, the film will discuss that further, as there is footage of Waters at a graveyard.

The film’s theatrical release date is Sept. 29, and will be paired with The Simple Facts, billed as a conversation with Waters and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason.
