David Gilmour has said that Pink Floyd‘s recent album, The Endless River, will be their last, but that doesn’t mean he’s not making any more music.
The guitarist/singer announced that tickets will go on sale tomorrow (March 6) for his first tour in nine years. That’s great news for Gilmour fans, though unfortunate for those in the U.S.: all the dates announced so far are in Europe.

The live shows will coincide with Gilmour’s as-yet-untitled fourth solo studio album, which follows his 2006 release On An Island.
Gilmour toured fairly extensively for On An Island. The set lists saw him dedicating a lot of time to his new record, but he also played several Pink Floyd classics including “Comfortably Numb,” “Wish You Were Here” and “Shine On You Crazy Diamond.” He even dove back into the band’s earlier material, including “Echoes,” “Astronomy Domine” and “Fat Old Sun.”
